Diane Flanagan grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and pursued art most of her life. Studying portraiture with Constantine and Roman Chatov and restoring antique oil paintings at an art gallery in mid-town Atlanta gave her a strong foundation to create the paintings she visualized.

 

After many more years of independent study and exercise, she moved to Minnesota and enrolled in the Atelier Studio Program of Fine Art to reach a greater level of finesse and skill. A recent graduate of the program, she is currently painting in oil and pastel. Commissioned work is in private collections in Georgia, South Carolina, California, Tennessee, Louisiana and Minnesota. Diane now teaches at The Atelier.
